About

Latisha Matayamanggoon is a communicator, author, and independent creator whose work moves across learning, practical thinking, philosophy, and speculative storytelling.

At the center of her work is one recurring question: how can an idea that feels difficult, abstract, or invisible be given a form that another person can see, understand, and remember?

Sometimes the answer becomes a learning book or visual explanation. Sometimes it becomes a practical framework for thinking and decision-making. And sometimes an idea is better understood through a character, a fictional world, or a story that allows the reader to see something that would otherwise remain abstract.

CREATIVE ORIGIN

From music to explanation

Latisha’s relationship with writing began in childhood through songwriting, shaped in part by growing up with a family history rooted in traditional Thai music. In her mid-teens, her attention shifted toward science and physics, where understanding difficult ideas—and finding ways to explain them—became increasingly important.

By her late teens, she was tutoring others, beginning with friends and younger students and eventually teaching groups as large as a classroom. That experience became a lasting part of her creative practice: finding the structure inside a difficult idea and rebuilding it in a form another person can understand.

CREATIVE STRUCTURE

Three creative identities

Latisha’s work spans subjects and audiences that do not always belong under the same name. Rather than asking one identity to represent everything, she uses three creative identities—each giving a different kind of work its own context while remaining part of the same creative practice.

Rhada Bloom, Latisham, and Latigo Bayne are not separate creators. They are three ways of organizing and communicating different bodies of work.

Rhada Bloom

Learning, children’s books, visual explanations, and educational tools designed to make difficult ideas clearer and easier to use.

Latisham explores how things work — from human decisions to scientific systems. Its work moves across practical thinking, science, reasoning, behavior, and the structures behind complex ideas.

Latigo Bayne

Fiction, folklore, supernatural, and speculative storytelling—work that gives abstract questions a world, character, and narrative form.

BODY OF WORK

Books, projects, and published work

Latisha has written and developed work across books, educational projects, practical frameworks, blogs, and digital platforms for many years. Her published work ranges from visual learning materials and structured thinking tools to fiction and experimental storytelling.

In 2016, she began developing her first major long-form fiction project, an extensive fantasy work that has continued to evolve alongside her other writing. While that larger body of fiction develops toward publication, she continues to release new educational, practical, and creative projects through her different creative identities.

EXPERTISE

Making complex ideas understandable

Latisha’s strongest work often begins where an idea is difficult to explain directly. She looks for the structure behind a subject, separates what is essential from what creates confusion, and rebuilds the idea in a form that is easier to see, follow, and remember.

The form changes with the problem. A mathematical idea may become a visual learning sequence. A question about behavior or decision-making may become a practical framework. A philosophical or abstract idea may instead become a character, a scene, or an entire fictional world. The goal is not simply to simplify an idea, but to preserve its meaning while making it accessible.
